Defence Community Sports Expo – Stockton -NSW

A welcoming family day that creates a unique opportunity for current and former serving veterans and their families to explore a variety of sports and connect with ex-service organisations (ESOs) whilst also having the opportunity to connect with like-minded veterans and their families.
Attendees will have the chance to try a variety of sports and activities that the whole family can enjoy, as well as a range of information booths by organisations supporting veterans.
Indoor Rowing is great for building strength, endurance and challenging your mind and body. But what the Invictus community loves most about it is that is transcends age, fitness levels and ability, making it accessible to anyone.

Pickleball or bowls?
South Australian and Queensland defence communities have started off March strong, attending bowls and pickleball events earlier in the month.
No matter what event they were at, for the veterans and families attending, it was about more than just sport - it was a chance to reconnect, build friendships, and support each other in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Special thanks to Townsville Pickleball and Victor Harbor Bowling Club for helping to facilitate these events.
