Invictus Australia will be entering multiple teams of competitors to take part in the Sitting Volleyball (SVB) National Championships to be held on the Gold Coast later this year, from the 5-7^th December 2025 

Sitting Volleyball is an exciting opportunity for all players and ability levels, where teams take to the court, in a seated position, working together to send the ball over the net in quick succession. Volleyball Australia is hosting this Australian Championship Tournament again following a successful event in Bendigo last year in an effort to build ongoing interests and a performance program toward the 2032 Paralympic Games. 

Invictus Australia, with support from the Invictus Games Foundation is supporting wounded, injured and ill veterans to participate in this this event. 

“We have had many veterans enjoy and find a passion for this sport at the Invictus and Warrior Games, and through our community events. It is great that Volleyball Australia is offering this domestic championship event. Eligibility 

To be eligible to participate as part of this team, competitors must be from the Wounded, Injured and Ill defence community, be based in Australia and be registered, or willing to register, on the We are Invictus App.

Applicants must be available to travel to the Gold Coast for the event and be independently fit for the team environment. Shared accommodation will be provided on Friday 5^th and Saturday 6^th December. 

In the lead up to the event there will be coordinated information and some training activities by region.

Invictus Australia will also be calling for nominations for Team Manager and Coach positions to support this team. Please indicate below if this is something that would interest you.
