Jason Bennetts
Jason grew up in small country towns along Australia’s east coast, far from the ocean—a contrast to the moment in his late teens when he found himself in a wetsuit, standing on the edge of a wharf, ready to dive into the largest body of water he’d ever seen. After finishing high school, driven by a desire to travel, meet new people, and take on a role full of variety and challenge, Jason joined the Royal Australian Navy as a Clearance Diver.
His time in the Navy offered extraordinary experiences and the opportunity to work alongside remarkable individuals. Since transitioning from service, Jason has contributed to a range of local community projects and gained experience across both small business and corporate sectors.
Now, as Regional Manager for Veteran Engagement in Western Australia, Jason describes joining Invictus Australia as “coming home.” He is passionate about reconnecting with the veteran community and creating meaningful opportunities for engagement. Known for his approachable, optimistic, and non-judgemental nature, Jason is eager to hear from veterans, share stories, and encourage participation in activities that foster connection and wellbeing.
