Invictus Australia is inviting veterans and their families to the ACT’s annual Defence Community Sport Expo, which will be held at the Tuggeranong Archery Club on 22nd March 2025. This year’s expo will provide a unique opportunity for local defence communities to explore new sports, engage with ex-service organisations (ESOs), and connect with like-minded individuals, all within a supportive and welcoming environment.   

The importance of community connection, resilience, and positive wellbeing has never been more important and this event provides a vital platform for veterans and their families to come together, access essential services, and discover how sport can play a key role in their wellbeing and recovery journey.  

After three successful years, the expo is back for its fourth year and will feature a range of sports, including archery, wheelchair rugby, pickleball, indoor rowing, gaming, disc golf, fencing, yoga, outrigger canoeing, mountain biking with Dynamic Motivation and more.

Attendees will also have the chance to meet with ESOs, learning how these organisations collaborate to enhance the wellbeing of the defence community. ESOs attending include:

These organisations will not only offer valuable information about the services they provide,  but will also provide family-friendly activities such as arts and crafts, arcade games and face painting.
