Doug Griffiths, a navy veteran who is currently in Kona, Hawaii ahead of the Ironman World Championships was farewelled over the weekend by his fellow Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 Team Australia competitors.
Sergeant Emily Lahey and Jo Lovell, two of Doug's teammates, were eager to send Doug off with their best wishes, with Emily delivering a heartfelt poem to her now lifelong friend. Here is a snippet of Emily's kind words:
