Physical, social and emotional benefits of sports for veterans, with Invictus Australia
Invictus Australia has created the four-part Harnessing the Power of Sport video series. This video focuses on the physical, social & emotional benefits of sport for our veteran community.
Introduced by veteran, Invictus Games competitor and Paralympian Curtis McGrath OAM, the series showcases veterans and their families who participate and volunteer in local sport to create a sense of camaraderie, give back to the community and develop a strong network to support other veterans and families.
Our first video demonstrates how surfing and a sense of community can aid in transitioning from the military, and on the journey toward rehabilitation and recovery.
