6th May, 2022: Rachel Kerrigan, Veteran Engagement Specialist for Northern NSW with Invictus Australia, has today announced her resignation from the role.

Rachel has been an important part of the team through the development initially of Veteran Sport Australia, and more recently the re-launch as Invictus Australia. Her efforts supported thousands of veterans and their families, primarily through northern NSW.

On announcing her departure Rachel said “it’s time for me to take a step back and focus on family and my health”.

Michael Hartung, CEO of Invictus Australia, said “Rachel has been a highly valued member of our team over the last three years, and her effort to go above and beyond to support veterans and families has been a trademark of her work. While she takes a step back for personal reasons, her impact will continue to be seen through all aspects of our work and she has helped set a great platform for the future”.

A replacement for Rachel will be determined in the coming months.
