The Invictus spirit shone bright today at the Univerity of British Columbia Aquatic Centre for a day of swimming.
Competitors cheered each other on, showing incredible support and sportsmanship, both in and out of the pool. The pool wasn’t just filled with powerful strokes but also heartfelt embraces across nations.
Competitor Dane Greenstreet summed it up perfectly: “It’s not about the medals or competition. It’s about the camaraderie.”
Moments like these make the Invictus Games truly special. 💛

Yesterday, the Wheeling Diggers put on incredible displays of athleticism, sportsmanship and grit on the court during their four matches.
However the highlight of the day happened after the matches were over. It was watching the proud look on the family and friends faces - and how much that meant to the team.
