TOWNSVILLE – Women in Fitness HIIT Program, Qld

AIPT & Invictus Australia are partnering to provide a 20-week HIIT program for female veterans (current and ex-serving) and family members.
Here’s a sport where endurance, strength, and resilience will shine through at the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025. Welcoming Ben Farinazzo to the grid to introduce Indoor rowing.
This high-intensity event, pushes competitors to their limits on rowing machines, in a race against the clock to achieve their best distance in either a 1-minute sprint or a 4-minute endurance challenge. Using adaptive equipment tailored to their needs, participants showcase the Invictus spirit of perseverance, stroke by stroke.

In June, we were inspired by the 30 competitors who traveled to Florida, supported by their family and friends, to represent Team Australia at the 2024 @dodwarriorgames.
While the grit, determination, and medals were remarkable, what truly stood out were the moments of connection, camaraderie, and resilience and the support of their inspiring family and friends. These moments reminded us of the profound impact sport has on the physical, mental, and social well-being of veterans and their families.
We partner with the Australian Defence Force to deliver Team Australia for the Warrior and Invictus Games as part of the Adaptive Sport Program.
