Why are family members accompanying the competitors?
Family and friends play a vital role in the support of ongoing recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured and ill current and former serving personnel. Family support is part of the Invictus Games ethos. Families attend the Invictus Games to share the experience and continue to provide valuable support to the competitors. Each competitor has the opportunity to take two family members or friends with them to the Invictus Games.
