Drawing Competition for Defence Children, a Celebration of Sport, Service and Family for defence children
Invictus Australia is inviting children from defence families across the country to participate in a Drawing Competition. This competition is now closed.
Sport has been a powerful connector for defence families, building resilience, strengthening relationships, and creating moments of joy and recovery. Through deployments, training, and transitions, families provide stability, resilience, and emotional support. This year’s competition theme celebrates that connection, inviting children from defence families to draw what playing sport with their family looks like to them.
The theme, “Playing Sport with My Family”, encourages children to reflect on the role sport plays in strengthening family bonds and supporting wellbeing within the defence community. Whether it’s kicking a ball in the backyard, running together at parkrun, or cheering each other on at a local event, these drawings will showcase the unique ways sport brings defence families together.
