8 week – Indoor Rowing Program – Toowoomba, QLD

Involving a rowing machine called an ergometer, which simulates the motion of rowing on water. It’s low impact and a great workout!
This July, Team Australia is reconnecting on the snow after discovering Alpine sports at the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 and are inviting other veterans to join them.
Whether you’ve never tried snow sports or you’re looking to connect, this participant-led activity offers access to adaptive equipment, expert instruction and a supportive community. There’s also the chance to explore Paralympic pathway opportunities through the Para Futures program.
Lift passes, equipment hire and adaptive lessons will be covered thanks to support from Perisher, with other costs self-funded.

So good to see veterans and families out on Magnetic Island over the weekend, taking on the Great Island Trek together.
Across the 5km, 12km and 18km courses, the group pushed through and finished together. It was a great mix of challenge, connection and community.
Events like this are a great reminder of how staying active can also mean staying connected to your local community.

This December, we are entering multiple teams into the Australian Sitting Volleyball Championships. Whether you`ve competed before or are new to the court, sitting volleyball is for all levels and abilities and all about teamwork, fast rallies and finding your rhythm.
We are looking for veterans who are part of the wounded, injured ill community to compete as part of Team Veteran in these championships.
