A sporting journey doesn’t end at the Games.

For many veterans and family members, sport becomes a way to keep showing up - for their team, their community and themselves.

That pathway continues for Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler alumni Sue Osborn and Katie Chapman, who have been selected as competitor and team doctor respectively for the 2026 Korea Sitting Volleyball Development Tour.

Across 10 days in South Korea, Australia’s Men’s and Women’s Sitting Volleyball teams will train alongside the Korean national teams and compete in the 19th Cheonan Mayor’s Cup.🏐

These opportunities build confidence, sharpen skills and keep veterans and families connected through sport, whether that’s at a local come-and-try session, an Invictus Games, or an international development tour.

Congratulations to Sue, Katie and everyone selected. We can’t wait to follow what you do next.

A huge congratulations to everyone who took on Hoops in the Tropics in Townsville over the weekend!🏀

This annual, inclusive wheelchair basketball tournament, hosted by the @TownsvilleSunCityWheelers, brings together players of all abilities and showcased an incredible level of skill across round-robin matches, 3x3 competitions and dunk contests.

🏅Team Veteran battled their way to an impressive second-place finish, with plenty of skill, determination and teamwork on display throughout the tournament.

We`re also incredibly proud to see Invictus Games alumni, Shane Bramley and Torben Louwen-Skovdam, and Invictus Germany Sports Festival alumnus Jess Flannagan continuing to represent the Invictus spirit, proving that the power of sport extends far beyond competition. A special shout-out to Shane, who was named Defensive Player of the Tournament – an outstanding achievement! 👏
